Being able to verify an entire list in one go is a benefit to any business - but being able to make sure emails come in verified to begin with? That's the real trick.
With form validation you can ensure that emails on your page are verified before they ever reach your contact list. Follow the steps below to install Form Validation on your website.
Step 1: Head over to your Forms tab on the left hand side of the emailable app
Step 2: Click the "New Form" button
Step 3: Name your form and add your full store domain to the list of "whitelisted domains"
This step is to tell the form we're creating which domain we want to verify emails for - this way no one else can use your form to validate THEIR website!
Enter your website domain with the http:// or https:// in front like the example below.
Then press "Save"
Step 4: Once the form has been created - you should see a page of blank statistics (as we haven't installed the form yet)
Scroll down past this to the Embed Script. Copy your embed script code.
Step 5: Head over to your website theme code and open the page responsible for your main website:
Shopify - theme.liquid
BigCommerce - default.html
Once there do a search on the page for the html tag </body> and paste your embed script ABOVE the </body> tag on its own line to include it in the body of your website.
This code will now validate any and all newsletter boxes, popup signups and email input forms on the page.
Click Save and you're done!
Congratulations! You've installed form validation on your website.
